Leading up to my appointment with the police to file an official complaint against my former coach, I was extremely nervous and worried. I found myself in very unfamiliar territory. Wendy played an instrumental role with her guidance.

Having gone thru the process now, I realize how her support was paramount for me. She was a pillar of my support system and she helped me navigate through these challenging times.

Initially, I believed my only option was to go through my National Sport Organization (NSO) again. However, after talking with Wendy, I discovered that I had alternative options that gave me more control over the process. Wendy provided a safe space where I could share as much or as little information as I chose, offering guidance rooted in both expertise and empathy. Thanks to Wendy's support, I was connected with the right lawyer, and pursuing a civil claim became a constructive experience that helped me find closure.
